” Crunchy peanuts! crunchy peanuts! The peanuts really taste good. Chewing the peanuts with your left-jaw teeth, your right-jaw teeth enjoy the flavor; chewing them with your right-jaw teeth, the flavour permeates right through your heart. You will know the truth only when your try. Crunchy peanuts, crunchy peanuts”. So cried out the peddler as he pushed along his old, creaky bicycle loaded with peanuts bicycle loaded with peanuts

The peddler was not all the time along during his peddling. Occasionally a boy or two would follow him, joining him to cry out “Crunchy peanuts, crunchy peanuts…” The boy was not without reward either. When he left, the peddler gave him some peanuts.

This happened during the childhood days of those who are around 70 years of age now.
