Reminiscing our harmonic team in 1949 while studying at KB Chung Hua school at Chung Hua School. Mrs TS Sung taught us how to read the introductory musical notes so we could play any musical instrument following the introductory music notes. We were so happy to sing along and play simple musical instruments such as a burgle or flute, especially the portable harmonica we could carry in our pockets. I felt very proud to demonstrate playing the harmonica with some of the songs, and my friends can sing along.

We were members of the first brass band formed by KB Chung Hua School in 1950, Please watch the brass band:-https://memoriesofthewaywewere.blog/2016/02/14/kuala-belait-chung-hua-school-marching-band/. By then there must be at least 50 male students an play songs with harmonic. After graduation most of the students continue their further studies in Sarawak, Sabah, Singapore and Malaya.

The following B&W photos were the harmonica teams of St Joseph School, Kuching. Many of them were the former Alumni from KB Chung Hua School.
